Individual support for people on the autism spectrum and those closest to them.

Autismus Coaching Daniela Klein

I am often asked the question “Like in the movie Rain Man?”, when I talk about my work. I explain that autism manifests itself in many ways, and each person possesses a very unique way of being. There isn’t just one autism, but multiple facets.

Therefore, the challenges that can arise in relation to autism are highly individualized. Living in a neurotypical world presents many difficult, often incomprehensible challenges, which in turn place immediate demands on their social environment and family.

In my coaching sessions, I provide individual and compassionate guidance to both the individual and the people in their immediate network, plus professional assistance in everyday life.

Every person deserves to be understood and supported in their uniqueness.

Consultation and Coaching

I support people in finding solutions to the difficult situations and hurdles that can arise in everyday life. This could include, for example, a crowded tram or elevator, a coworker’s loud voice, spontaneous changes in plans, bright lights, specific smells, or the overwhelming sensory overload in the city.

I work in a non-judgemental way, with empathy, openness and understanding. I listen attentively, neutrally, and without prejudice, and my clients issues and concerns are always at the forefront of our time together.

We work together on developing solutions and strategies that feel right and appropriate to the client. Sometimes, these can also be wonderfully creative!

I offer you empathic autism counseling at eye level, tailored to your individual needs. My appreciative coaching is aimed at:

  • Mothers and fathers of an autistic child.
  • Those affected with or without a diagnosis.
  • All adults who would like advice on the subject of autism, also for school and work.
